Psychological Assessments

Our team of Psychologists have been trained and are skilled in conducting psychological assessments to assess strengths and weaknesses in several areas including learning and personality. Our assessments at MWG are accompanied by full written reports. Our reports have been known to be full of value as they don’t just come with a list of recommendations, rather they are accompanied by step-by-step user friendly recommendations to help implement the strategies needed to facilitate change.

In the case of adults, psychological assessments are usually required to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Common reasons why adults need assessments include:

  • Personality Assessments

  • Cognitive Assessments

  • Vocational Assessments

In the case of young people, assessments are usually required for educational purposes and/or for cognitive purposes to provide information about a young person’s strengths and weaknesses so that they can achieve the best outcomes at school.

All of our assessments include a semi-structured clinical interview, several testing sessions, a feedback session, and a full written report with treatment recommendations and detailed intervention hand outs with a step by step guide for implementation.

Specifically, our clinicians can conduct assessments for the following purposes:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Learning and/or Intellectual Difficulties for children, adolescents, and adults.

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

  • Other school and/or cognitive difficulties
